today when i read carolyns blog i couldnt help but feel that i felt exactly how she did today.
and what she wrote in her blog is exactly what i want to say.
its been what God has been trying to tell me but what ive been doing is trying to tell myself what God is telling me. when all i had to d was listen to him
so carolyn's post was very important to me because it says out everything that i feel.
and i think that a lot of people are feeling this way.

i said in my previous post that reading our class people's blogs makes me sad.
but today i think they're all really meaningful.

i shall quote a few paragraphs from carolyn's blog
but you should read the entire post yourself

"I finally understand too, why believers never concern themselves whether this seems like circular reasoning to the rest of mankind. This is faith in its purest form -this is what they mean when they say to trust with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. "

"The world is miserable not because You have rejected it, but because it has rejected you. Darkness exists not because of light but because its absence; evil exists not because of You but because of Your absence. All our dilemmas, whether confidence versus lack of, popularity versus lack of, fame versus lack of - just leave it to You.

Even fears: failure, disappointing others, being alone in a deserted place, becoming arrogant, plus myinsecurities: expectations of self and others, social interaction and the like - they have lost my grip on me, because of what I realised last night."

carolyn realised the greatest thing while she was sitting with her feet in the kitchen sink. that jsut shows that you dont to have to be in church or camp to experience God. because he's always there. and all you have to do is open your heart to him. be quiet, and listen to his voice. sometimes, its your quiet moments that you truely experience God. its not about God opening that door of your heart because he loves us, so he gives us free will. so its us opening our heart's door to him. and i love knowing that he's always there. no matter what. he's standing patiently outside the door of our hearts, no matter what we do, how we've sinned. WE ARE SINNERS. and GOD IS THE CREATOR OF EVERYTHING. he is the alpha and omega, he is the beginning and the end. and yet he is willing to accept us, sinners, for who we are. we dont have to try to be anyone, we dont have to be special, we dont have to be gifted, smart, intelligent, good. all we have to do is to say YES to him. that's all he wants.

today as i was sitting in ther car on the way home. i was looking at the rain.
it was raining really heavily. and i couldnt see the top of all the skyscrapers.
and i thought of how GREAT God is. how amazing he is to have created such a world. to create rain. and i was sitting safely in the car. then i thought of hw God was my refuge and my strength. rain is beautiful. and God will always protect my through the storm.
so no matter what trials or difficulties i face. Its all part of God's plan, so long as i trust in him.

today in church it was bible epics
and in our groups we had to play games at different stations to play a final game at the hall.
there was one game which was the broken telephone one. and though long, i still remember the message. well, not word for word.

" There was a strong wind
but God was not in the wind
The wind torn the mountains and shattered the rocks.

There was an earthquake
but God was not in the earthquake

There was a fire
but God was not in the fire

Then, there was a gentle whisper"
