NATIONAL DAY

yes, the day of plastic flags and patriotic songs

the day were the quadrangle is a sea of red and white.

this year, we couldnt keep the flags because they wanted to recycle them for next year.

i really pity the people who would be getting me and christie's flag next year. we were like sticking them in our shoes and waving them by kicking our legs.

and there was the singing again. it's quite enthu like every year. me and chrisite were being stupid with the soprano and stuff. and we were like doing all the actions la. super funny.

and some people behind us were standing on their chairs.



my grandfather hung his flag on his gate again this year. and as i was walking into my house, i stared at my gate and its non-existent singapore flag.



in less then 12 hours time ill be walking into a stinky airplane and travelling along the atmosphere. i bet nobody was surprised when we were going overseas for national day AGAIN. why cant we just stay home for once and celebrate our country's birthday?
